About the job

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, schedule, manage, and monitor projects to ensure that the quality of project implementation follows company standards.
2. Developing and implementing strategy for the project team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan. Help in overall building and managing project teams.
3. Improve and innovate operational standards and ensure that all policy and procedures are followed at all levels and understand how different projects interlink and overlap.
4. Create frameworks, prepare reports, DPRs and deliverables as per client and administration requirements.
5. Analyze relevant data to make business recommendations that result in market growth, quality and reliability improvements and contractor access / performance increases.

3. Ability to work in team and deliver in tight deadlines.

Education and Experience:
1. Relevant degree in a discipline from the development sector (Social Work, Development Studies,
etc.) or
2. Equivalent experience in the said sector
3. 2 – 3 Years in Development, Consultancy, CSR projects or allied sectors and/ or
4. 1 – 2 Years in the field of Solid Waste Management (not mandatory)

Requirements

1. Plan, schedule, manage, and monitor projects to ensure that the quality of project implementation follows company standards. 

2. Developing and implementing strategy for the project team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan. Help in overall building and managing project teams. 

3. Improve and innovate operational standards and ensure that all policy and procedures are followed at all levels and understand how different projects interlink and overlap. 

4. Create frameworks, prepare reports, DPRs and deliverables as per client and administration requirements. 

5. Analyze relevant data to make business recommendations that result in market growth, quality and reliability improvements and contractor access / performance increases. 

6. Update on a regular basis a tracker of Recity’s performance scores, analyze the data and facilitate a process to distil and communicate emerging lessons to relevant parts of the organization via in-person and/ or on-call meetings. 

7. Liaising with the other business units’ teams to streamline project implementation. 

8. Managing budgets and reporting on fund allocation. 

9. Prepare tenders and grant application process including design, submission, and review. 

10. Reporting on projects performance to client and directors. 

11. Developing industry partnerships and collaborations to further project efficiency. 

12. Train project team/s to high quality standards to ensure knowledge to increase the productivity of the company.
